Please be advised that the Board of Selectmen will hold a public hearing on April 18, 2012 at 6:00 pm to consider an increase in the private pay room and ancillary rates at Our Island Home, as well as to begin applying interest on delinquent accounts. In accordance with Massachusetts General Law Chapter 130, Section 60, a Public Hearing will be held by the Board of Selectmen on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at 6:00 PM in the Community Room of the Public Safety Facility, 4 Fairgrounds Road, Nantucket to hear a License Application for Private Shellfish Grant by Matthew Herr, 59 Hooper Farm Road, Nantucket, MA 02554. The area requested is a 4 acre parcel located in the Head of the Harbor. This area has been approved and utilized for aquaculture by the Town in the past. Please be advised that the Board of Selectmen will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at 6:00PM to consider the application for a Mobile Food Unit license for Blue Bellies d/b/a Blue Bellies, Thomas Berry, Manager, to sell prepared food including lobster and clam rolls, soft drinks, bottled water and similar food items at Nobadeer Beach. Seasonal hours of operation will be Monday through Sunday from 11:00AM until 3:00PM from May 25th to September 15th. The applicant proposes amplified radio and widescreen TV (3 units) in the dining room and bar areas using regular installed sound system/speakers and a DJ for weddings and special events using same sound system.
