The Board of Selectmen is accepting applications for the New Fire Station Work Group, a temporary advisory group which will review existing plans for a new Fire Station at 4 Fairgrounds Road, review alternatives and make recommendations to the Board of Selectmen. A public hearing to review applications; as well as to make appointments will be held Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at 6:00 PM at the Public Safety Facility Community Room, 4 Fairgrounds Road. Four seats are available to citizens at-large with terms to expire December 31, 2014. Interested individuals may obtain a “Committee Interest Form” from the Town Administration office in Town Hall, 16 Broad Street, Nantucket, MA 02554 or by clicking here.
