Affordable Housing Trust

We want your input! The Trust will be sponsoring the 2nd Webinar as part of the Housing Production Plan (HPP) update on Tuesday, March 30th at 4:30pm .

This is an opportunity to hear a summary of the feedback given through over 1,300 surveys completed and additional focus group interviews, as well as ask questions and give feedback on the preliminary recommendations to be included in the HPP. The session will be run by our HPP consultants, Jenn Goldson and Judi Barrett. Please register in advance here.


To provide for the creation and preservation of affordable housing in the Town of Nantucket, preferably in perpetuity, as a general policy, but subject to exceptions where it is practicable and reasonable to do so, for the benefit of year-round low and moderate income households who would otherwise have difficulty financial or otherwise, locating housing on Nantucket.

Declaration of Trust

By unanimous vote of 2009 Annual Town Meeting Article 72 was adopted the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 44, section 55C – 109 were accepted and the Town of Nantucket Affordable Housing Trust Fund was established.

Meeting Times

The NAHT meetings are typically held once a month on the third Tuesday of the month at 1:00 pm in the Community Room at 4 Fairgrounds Road (1st floor of the Public Safety Building)
