Thanksgiving Guidance

Thanksgiving, like other 2020 holiday celebrations, will need to be different this year to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Traveling:  Travel increases your chance of getting and spreading COVID-19. When you travel, you not only put yourself at risk, if you are asymptomatic, you are still contagious and can infect others.

Hosting or attending a traditional Thanksgiving gathering:  Remember that asymptomatic people (people that do not show symptoms) are still contagious and can infect others.

Host a virtual meeting:  Schedule a time to have  a meal with friends and family who don’t live with you.

Remember:  The safest way to celebrate Thanksgiving this year is to celebrate with people in your household.

When you go out:  Wear a mask, stay 6 feet away from other people, sanitize your hands frequently.
