Nip Bottles (of less than or equal to 100 mm.)

At the 2022 Annual Town Meeting, residents voted to adopt a ban on Single-Use Petroleum-Based Plastics Products containing Alcoholic Beverages in Less Than or Equal to 100 Millimeters (commonly referred to as "nips"). 

The ban is effective as of January 1, 2023.

  1. What items are prohibited?
  2. What date does this bylaw go into effect?
  3. Can retailers continue to sell these items after the proposed date that they already own until they sell through their current inventory?
