County Commission

Mission

The mission of the commission is to provide for the common welfare and to secure for Nantucket’s community all the rights, powers, privileges, duties and obligations which may now or hereafter be derived from county government.

The County Commission serves as Select Board; Regional Transit Authority; Fire and Police Commissioners; Public Works Board; and Sewer Commissioners.

The County Commission meets on the 4th Wednesday of every month at 6:00 PM at the PSF Community Room, 4 Fairgrounds Road, Nantucket, MA.
