
JULY 4, 2023 EVENT SCHEDULE:
MAIN STREET AREA - 8:30am-12:30pm

8:30am-12:30pm: Sustainable Nantucket’s Farmer’s Market, Cambridge Street between Federal and South Water Streets.
8:30am-12:30pm: Food trucks will be located on Federal Street between Main and India Streets.
11:00am: ACKTones group will be performing on Federal Street.
12:00pm: Water competition between Nantucket Fire Department and Boynton Lane Reserves.*
* The public should expect to get wet within the “Spray Zone.” Both firetrucks will compete for bragging rights to fill 55-gallon drums with water! Attendees are asked to refrain from bringing water balloons, soakers and other 'water competition' materials.
CHILDREN’S BEACH - 10:00am-12:00pm, 5:00pm

10:00am: P.J. Moody sings the National Anthem and other patriotic music on the bandstand.
10:30am: Nanpuppets puppet show on the bandstand.
11:00am: P.J. Moody returns to sing on the bandstand.
11:30am: Bike parade around the park.
10:00am-12:00pm: Zofia and Co. Photo Booth, Matt Fee Tea Toss, Cornhole tournament.
5:00pm: Children’s games on the beach, 3-legged, wheelbarrow, and potato sack races, tug of war.
JETTIES BEACH - 9:00 PM

9:00pm: Fireworks. Show lasts approximately 25-27 minutes and shot from a barge just offshore.
NOTICE: Activities, locations and times may be subject to change or cancelation at the last minute.
TRANSPORTATION TO FIREWORKS:
Starting at 6:00pm, vans and buses will depart from in front of The Whaling Museum on Broad Street every 10-15 minutes and will return from Jetties Beach after the fireworks up to 10:30pm.
