Main Street Morning Activities 10AM-Noon

Check back in the late Spring for more details.

Children's Beach Activities 10:00AM-Noon and again at 5:00PM

P.J. Moody kicks the morning off with the National Anthem and other patriotic music on the bandstand followed at 10:30am with the Nanpuppet show. At 11:00am, P.J. Moody returns to the bandstand for a singalong. Then at 11:30, there is a bike parade around the park perimeter. In between, play a game or 2 of Cornhole, enjoy the Matt Fee Tea Toss (while supplies last), get your face painted at the NISHA info table and play with the bubble ring sending bubbles into the sky.

At 5:00pm, Children's Games start on the beach. There will be three-legged, wheel barrow and potato sack races ending with the legendary Tug-of-War!

Fireworks at Jetties Beach at 9:00PM

End the day with the best fireworks display on Nantucket. Fireworks will be shot from a barge just offshore and will last about 25-27 minutes. Transportation on the NRTA Wave buses to the beach will begin at 6:00m from the Whaling Museum every 20 minutes to the corner of Bathing Beach Road and Hulbert Avenue and will return to the Whaling Museum after the show.
