Nantucket- Fill-A-Truck Event!

Fill-A-Truck Event December 14, 2019

This Saturday, December 14, 2019 from 1 PM to 3 PM, the Town of Nantucket Public Works and Sewer departments will have a truck each at the mid-island Stop & Shop on Sparks Avenue.
All donated food items will be delivered to the Nantucket Food Pantry.

The Town of Nantucket is considering implementing a free summer commuter shuttle service between the parking lot at 2 Fairgrounds Road and the Town Lot behind 37 Washington Street.

The purpose of offering a free shuttle service is to provide a safe, efficient, and affordable alternative to driving and parking downtown during the day. The Town seeks your help to better understand what is needed to make this service a success.

Town of Nantucket Receives New Great Pond Permits

The Town, in a partnership with the Nantucket Pond Coalition, announced today the receipt of new pond management permits from the Army Corps of Engineers that will allow the Town to modify the Town’s management options of two Great Ponds on Nantucket.

Public Work Commencing Municipal Improvement Projects on Various Areas

The Department of Public Works (DPW) will be commencing municipal improvement projects starting on or after October 15, 2019 and continuing through May 31, 2020 or until completed.
