If I have outstanding taxes, will they be carried forward to the next year's bill?
No. Delinquent amounts due are not carried over from one bill to the next. If you do owe delinquent amounts the following notice will appear in the middle section of your bill: "BILLS ARE PAST DUE. PLEASE CONTACT THE TAX COLLECTOR'S OFFICE." After due notification, a lien will be placed against the parcel and recorded in the Registry of Deeds.
